I am addicted to the Little Boxy Pouch.
I can't tell you how much fun these are to make, and they take almost no time at all.

I am a crafter who needs instant gratification. I tend to lack patience in almost every area of my life. hobbies included. Therefore, I love making these pouches. I finished two this afternoon during naptime and only stopped because I ran out of zippers.
You can tell how easy it is to vary the shape of the pouch. My Square Dance pouch was long and short, while my green flowered pouch ended up small and tall. (I love the square dance fabric, by the way. I bought it at Hobby Lobby about a year ago, when I first began my sewing journey. I used the majority of it on an apron for my sister-in-law, and have been saving the scraps for something special...)
Sarah had me freaked out by her comment regarding zippers, and I normally agree with her sentiment. Remarkably, this was actually the first project on which I didn't struggle with the zipper. I think it was a combination of the awesome tutorial from Three Bears, and the fact that the pouch is unlined. Somehow zippers and linings just don't work for me.
Still not motivated to make your own? That's okay. Go leave a comment on Thursday's post and you'll be entered to win a Little Boxy Pouch of your own, made by yours truly.
