The impromptu tea towel apron has been revised once again and is now final. The ruffle just wasn't working for me. Something about it was just too, well, pink. So I went with option 3, cute little button embelishments.
Around here, this was voted the least favorite option by my fan club, but I wanted to try it. The concern expressed by a certain (very creative and loving) husband was that the pink buttons would detract from the light yellow flowers. He may be right...
But it's one of my first creative embelishment endeavors, so I feel quite fondly toward it. Soon it will depart for its new home with one of today's winners (I might even iron it first). Until then, Scarlet will continue to wear it quite happily.
