This week, I knew I wanted to feature a purse tutorial for Throwback Thursday.  I haven't lost my obsession with finding the perfect summer purse (now that summer is in full swing, I need to step things up a bit), so I'm thinking it's time to take a crack at making one.

These thoughts took me on a search for a purse tutorial from the Blogland Archives.  I had surprisingly few purse tutorials in my super-secret computer stash, perhaps because my Bend the Rules Sewing book has just about all the purse patterns I need.  Nonetheless, in my Blogland search I discovered an awesome blog (new to me) with a great tutorial.

Meet the Lindie Bag, designed by Craft Apple.  In addition to a great blog, Craft Apple is also a pattern designer and bagaholic.  Accordingly, I feel great featuring her tutorial for Throwback Thursday, and I can't wait to make this purse. Getting started very soon...
