@ Annette: The brioche is next on my list! I was shocked by the amount of butter and eggs in it, so I know it will be delicious!

LOVE this book. We've made numerous recipes - some a number of times and seem never to tire of it. It was good to see photos of you making it in a loaf pan, as I always make it round on a clay stone. I look forward to trying it that way. Have you tried the sweet brioche dough?.. - YUM! I made the pastries and used apples instead of apricots - DELICIOUS and DECADENT. Enjoy!

@ Gill: The dough is pretty wet, which I think is what makes it able to keep in the fridge for almost two weeks. Then you can bake it as you're ready for it.

I used to love it when my mum made bread - there's nothing better than bread still warm from the oven.

Oh that bread looks so yummy. I have such a hard time with bread! I did buy some at the farmers market though, does that kinda count as homeade
